Host an unforgettable private event at Brys Estate, with panoramic views of East Grand Traverse Bay and the surrounding vineyards, or in our intimate red brick and mahogany, old-world-style tasting room. Choose from a relaxed reception or cocktail-style gathering, or a fully seated dinner experience, tailored to your vision.

Private Event - Tasting Room & Grounds

Facility fee: $3,500 peak season | $2,500 off-peak season

Any day of the week, after regular winery hours
Peak season capacity: up to 100 guests (cocktail-style) or 75 guests (seated)
Off-peak season capacity: up to 75 guests (cocktail-style) or 44 guests (seated)
Includes exclusive venue use and event coordination
Live acoustic music welcome, must conclude by 9:30 pm. Events conclude by 10:30 pm.

Private Event - Lawn Bar

Facility fee: $2,500

Available Memorial Day through mid-October only; not available off-season
Exclusive use of the Lawn Bar, 6 pm – 9 pm

Outdoor setting with no indoor backup

Beverage Service

Required for all events, choose one; $500 wine minimum

Token Package: $12.50 per token, 2-token minimum per guest, guests redeem for a glass of their choice, additional purchases at menu price after
Host Tab: up to 5 wines selected, invoiced at regular menu pricing; any purchases beyond your package minimum are billed at the event’s end
Cash Bar: guests purchase individually at menu pricing
Dinner Wine Pairing Package (seated dinner only): $35 (3-course), $45 (4-course), or $55 (5-course) per person, followed by cash bar or hosted tab

Catering

In-house charcuterie and small plates available for receptions. Full dinner catering available through our approved catering partners, or propose your own licensed caterer for approval.

Good to Know Details

A deposit equal to 50% of your total contracted package (venue, beverage minimum, food if selected, applicable taxes, and the 20% service charge) is due when your agreement is signed. Of this amount, $500 is a non-refundable booking fee that secures your date. The remaining balance, including any beverage minimum not yet met, is due 30 days before your event. Any purchases beyond your package (for example, wine beyond your included minimum) are billed at the event’s end at regular menu pricing.
Cancellations more than 90 days before the event receive a refund of all payments, less the $500 non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations 31 to 90 days before the event forfeit the 50% deposit, with any additional amounts paid refunded. Cancellations 30 days or fewer before the event forfeit the full contracted amount.
Tasting Room & Grounds events booked as an after-hours private venue rental include indoor backup space. If weather affects the outdoor portion of your event, we move the event indoors; no cancellation is necessary in most cases. For seated dinners, the indoor back up space will be spread throughout our cask room, wine cellar and barrel rooms, based on event size. In cases of extreme weather that make the event unsafe to hold even indoors, Brys Estate may cancel; you may reschedule within the same season, subject to availability, or receive a refund of amounts paid, minus the applicable non-refundable fee.
Lawn Bar events are an outdoor setting with no indoor backup. If Brys Estate needs to cancel due to weather, you’re welcome to reschedule within the same season, subject to availability, or receive a refund of amounts paid, minus the applicable non-refundable fee. All other deposit, payment, and cancellation terms above apply the same way to Lawn Bar events.
Michigan sales tax applies to all pricing above.
