Welcome to Brys Estate

Spanning 155 acres, Brys Estate is the largest contiguous winery estate on the Old Mission Peninsula, just north of Traverse City. Opened in 2005, we're a family-run business that crafts wines from 53,000 vines planted less than a mile from Lake Michigan. The Brys experience includes an old-world tasting room, unique elevated Upper Deck with panoramic views of our expansive vineyards and East Grand Traverse Bay, a Private Guesthouse, Lawn Bar, and serene Secret Garden.

Reservations are strongly recommended. Guests arriving without a reservation will be seated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations may be made online for parties up to 6 guests. Parties of 7-12+ please call (231) 223-9303 ext 4 for availability.

Upper Deck

Our Upper Deck sits elevated above the vineyard rows, allowing guests to take in spectacular views of the 155-acre estate and East Grand Traverse Bay while enjoying their wine selections. Upper Deck closed for table service until Memorial Day Weekend 2025. Some seating available through winter season, safety and weather permitting. Learn more

Lawn Bar 

The Lawn Bar is an outdoor service area just outside of the tasting room doors that offers seating for guests to relax at while they enjoy their glasses of wine, Frosé, hard cider, and snack items. Reservations are not required and all group sizes are welcome. In the summer and fall, relax at a picnic table or Adirondack chair and take part in a game of cornhole. In the winter, fire pits warm the guests seated around them. Wine flights and cheese & charcuterie boards are not served in this location. Dogs are allowed as long as they remain leashed and are properly cared for. Learn more

Winter Trail 

Reopening in December! Snowshoe, cross-country ski, or hike the best of Brys Estate's 155 acres. Our 2 winter trail options boast beautiful views of a quiet vineyard, resting lavender fields, and snowy, wooded valleys. Keep warm with an insulated mug of our Spiked Hot Apple Cider or a glass of wine while you explore the trail. Learn more

Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Day (1/1/25)

Visiting With Children

Children (and other guests under 21) are welcome to visit the winery. When making a reservation please include them in your guest count. Non-alcoholic beverage options are available.

Dog Policy

Dogs are permitted at the Lawn Bar only; must remain leashed and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Dogs are not allowed inside the tasting room or on the Upper Deck. Only service dogs with a valid license are permitted.

Outside Food & Bottle Consumption Not Permitted 

Only food and drink purchased from the Brys tasting room or Lawn Bar is permitted. Thank you for being considerate of this policy.
